Leadership

Shawn Winchester has been very successful in his business career. Leadership and work ethics were learned at a very early age for Shawn as he worked all day 7 days a week on his family’s very large fifth generation Oklahoma Centennial Farm and Ranch in Southwest OK. After receiving an associate’s degree from Redlands Community College he returned to the family farm, got married and is raising three beautiful daughters. He also owns a successful hunting operation called Headhunters Exotics.
Shawn’s Right of Way career began in 2007 in Kansas on a Communications acquisition project. From there he moved on to complete several large Electric Transmission Projects in Oklahoma where he quickly became supervisor. His very positive attitude and professionalism in dealing with landowners lead him to begin his own company early in 2013 when he started Spring Creek Acquisitions LLC. The company is currently working for several clients in numerous states across the country.
Shawn feels his success in business is based on how he was raised and how he was taught to respect people, the value of the land, and other people’s property and possessions. These are the same traits and values that he looks for in hiring Right of Way agents that go out and represent the company. There are two saying that he lives and works by; “the harder you work, the luckier you get” and “great things take time and sacrifice”
